For those that know me what I am about to say is not a shock, I am a 'control-freak'. My mom still remembers volunteering in my kindergarten class and one little girl coming up to her saying, "Mrs. Russell, Sierra is bossy." She will be the first to admit that I was a very 'strong-willed' child. I have always strived for perfection. In seeking a book to read next to the pool this summer, I found Choosing Real by Bekah Jane Pogue on the shelve of my local library. The book seemed to hit on every doubt I have carried in the past months and throughout my life. This book is great for anyone who struggles with suffering, finding that relationship with God or trying to establish that perfect Pinterest-worthy life.
